Channel rebranding. Starting with the concept of “Geoplaneta TV, otra forma de viajar”, (Geoplaneta TV, a different way to travel), we worked on repositioning the channel by prioritizing the idea of travel versus documentary. To clearly identify the channel, we proposed a series of characters that evoke diverse cultures and the motivations that impulse travel: exoticism, risk, faraway cultures, gastronomy, etc.
All the continuity was developed through the corporate colours of the brand, superimposed upon a white background while using actual, printed supports from travel such as boarding cards, luggage tags, road signs, passports, etc.

In 2002, zeligstudio received a Gold Award for the identity redesign of GeoPlaneta TV, from the Art Directors Club of Europe in the category of Film & TV Graphics. This same piece of work was nominated for the LAUS awards of ADG-FAD and was finalist in the On-air TV Package Design category of BDA PROMAX EUROPE 2002.
