Book trailer. Ecoembes, the packaging waste-management company, announced a short story competition through its blog “Amarillo Verde y Azul” (http://www.amarilloverdeyazul.com/). The slogan for the competition was “Los profes cuentan” (The teachers tell). The winning entry was chosen by a panel of judges presided over by Ana María Matute and was published in a book to raise funds for the charity Aldeas Infantiles SOS.

Red Button, the communication studio belonging to Vinizius Y&R, commissioned us to produce the two minute piece to explain the content of the winning story through animation. The piece was used for the award ceremony event itself as well as the promotion and sale of the book via the Internet. We built a piece based on a series of illustrations that brought the characters to life in a synthetic manner. The image was designed to reproduce the magical moments and key points of the story.
